Pilates Reformer

Pilates classes the original way – be prepared to work out in energetic and dynamic pilates reformer group session.  Pilates Reformer is a great way to balance your mind and your body.

In a Reformer class you will follow a systematic order of exercises on a moving carriage, pull on ropes, push against bars and jump on boards. You will do it all with precision so you strengthen and tone your muscles like never before and leave your class feeling rejuvenated.

The Reformer provides beginners with the assistance to maintain good spinal alignment, while the springs give enough resistance to challenge the muscles. As you become more familiar with the machine the springs are adjusted to challenge your balance and stability while building strength and increasing postural awareness.

Reformer Pilates focuses on eccentric muscle contractions resulting in long, lean muscles- the ultimate workout!

Reformer Level 1 is a Beginners class introducing you to the Reformer and the concepts of Pilates, also suitable for those with injuries that have been assessed.

Reformer Level 1+ is suitable when you are ready to take things up a notch or 2 (after approx 6 level 1 classes)

Reformer level 2 after 10-12 Level 1 or 1+ classes, challenging, fun and energetic!

Lunchtime express classes are ideally started after 3 or 4 level 1 classes.
